First follow PT's directions.
Next I didn't protect the cells -meaning you could've accidentally erased the formulas.
The new versions that I posted in this thread have protected cells.
Entering time has to be in this format HH:MM:SS.
So if your time was 5 minutes and 33 seconds, enter as 00:05:33.

Do any of the calculators give us a running evaluation?  You know, plunk in the numbers & see where we are at eval. wise?
I maybe am reading it wrong.  I imput the numbers, have no idea where to see the eval.  I've gone to the eval tab, but what's there makes no sense to me.  Do we have to wait until the end of count to see the eval?
Thanks, anyone  &  good luck on your count!

You might have to scroll up or down a little. It looks just like the PO version.Under the bottom columns.
Yes it would be a running evaluation.

I think that I know what the problem is with not being able to see your running evaluation.  If you go to the "evaluation" tab, go to line #45, the one with "lock pouch stops".  You need to enter a number in here to make the evaluation show down below.

You don't need data there. The only column that needs Data to activate the auto calculation is the letter column on the 4239s.You have to make sure you have letters entered for each day or the Eval will not compute or be incorrect.

Why are the calculations using weeks and not days? Will excel calculate the first week of count using five days?

If you're using the 2009 Count Calculator ( w/pay or without), it will auto calculate based on the number of days that have data entered. You can check the number of days the calculator is using by looking on the evaluation sheet at the top, column I & J.

You need to download the calculator. If you open it directly from the website, don't try to enter data ( it will say read only) click file--- then save as (save on desktop)----then save. The calculator will then be on your computer, which will allow you to enter data.
When you click on the link a dialog box will appear. There will be two buttons you could click (you can only select one).
Open with--- You would have to use the save method listed above.

Save File--- You download the file to your computer.

I have used the calculators and thank your frozen toes - they work great... the only thing I am wondering is I input on lst page Line 3 Y to govt vehicle and Y to withdrawal, but on evaluation page, lines 45 & 46 - both spots show 0.... is this a mistake?  or is the eval showing the correct figures since I inputted on lst page... secretly hoping this is a mistake and I get extra 30 minutes each for withdrawal and govt vehicle.

Type in Yes or No. Make sure The first letter is capitalized. I had to update the calculators earlier today because of an error if your mileage was below 22.22 miles. If you are under that mileage download again, otherwise it will be OK.

When I enter the same data into the NRLCA calculator and the Ruralinfo calculator I get two very different results. When I checked the numbers for DPS,Carrier Pickup... with a handheld calculator they matched the NRLCA version for week #1.

Without seeing your spread sheet, I can only guess. The calculators posted here do " Running Evaluations"
of all columns. For example, you have 5000 DPS letters for 4 days. The calculator will divide 5000 by 4, then multiply by 6 ( weekly avg. through the 4 days). that avg. will be multiplied by the time standard for DPS, that result will be displayed in the route time cell.

I forgot, if you're testing you need to ensure you have letters entered for the number of days you are doing.
If you are testing 6 days but only have letters in 5 the numbers will be different. On the Eval. page top right,it shows what number of days the calculator is using.

My bad. You're correct the numbers are off for the daily evaluation but it all works out for the weekly. I keep forgetting the count goes Saturday thru Saturday and not the normal work week. Thanks.

I think I have spotted an error.  IN the excel weekly calculator it gives you 2 minutes for a parcel collected, and I think that is should be 4 minutes, 2 street and 2 office
Thanks
