Hi, I'm really stupid at the computer, but would like to keep up with the mail count myself. How do I know if I can download any of this, & which one? I have Vista, and just what came with the computer nothing extra. I was going to try & download open office, but do you run or save & then it said it would take 40 min. so it scared me off. Thanks for your help. Marie

Do you have someone who could help you with the computer?
That would seem like your best option.

I have Vista and nothing else but there is a spreadsheet program on it. I'm using Firefox, did the download, and used save file. Then I went to find it in my documents and it opened up with the default spreadsheet program.

Good Morning,
I have been entering the information on the 4241 daily.  It has transferred onto the evaluation sheet but it doen't add up correctly in my opionion.  It lists 5 days but there is a red amount in DPS flats and Lock Pouches.  I changed that to 0 but it still comes up with 105+ hours and minutes so I am not getting a true figure.  What am I doing wrong?  Great calculator otherwise.  Help!!

Don't fill out the Dps Flats- leave it undetermined. Leave the locked pouch alone if you don't have any.
I would double check that you entered ALL info correctly. One mistake could really throw it off. You could have changed one of the formulas by mistake. The newest calculators I posted, in the first thread , will prevent
 you from changing the formula.

Hi,
I have left the DPS flats as undetermined.  Where do I find the updated calculator?  Also, will it list what you should be H, J, K, or whatever?

I can't get either of the calculators to work..have downloaded and saved both version. But when I open them to use them there are no tabs at the bottom as shown in the first post here.

I am able to use the NRLCA calculator and I just put the correct fraction in for number of weeks in order to do a daily tabulation.

Just curious as to why I can't get the other two to work. I have both OpenOffice and Microsoft Office on my computer.

Do you see at least one tab. If so, at the bottom left are arrows to move the tabs. Try that or delete them and download again. You could also just open the calculators on the website ( won't let you enter data) then " save as " to your computer. Then the calculator will be wherever you saved it.

Has anyone found a way to accuratly calculate a single days evaluated hours from the count data? We can do it in one week increments, but a single day with a common calculator can get kind of iffy for me.

Not sure what you're asking.
You want to figure your eval. for each day individually? ie: Sat. is 43k,Tues 45K,etc..
Do you want a running eval. that represents your eval. as it progresses after 1 day then 2?ie: Sat. your a 43k after Tuesday route is a 44k.

Thank you for everything but it still comes up with Weekly Totals of 4821.2739 for Office Time and 1830.1760 for Route Time.  Then in the Standard Time it comes up with 110 for Office and 51 for Route.  I have tried it on two different computers and this is what I am getting.  Numbers have been checked and double checked.  I enter it on week 1 & 2 sheet, it automatically enters when I check the evaluation tab but I think something is still wrong.  Please help.

Make sure you enter vehicle load and column 17 correctly.   (HH:MM:SS)
It worked for me after I did that.
