CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS CHANGE
A) NAME OF DOCUMENT: NRLCA CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS
B) ARTICLE______XIV________ SECTION______1 PARAGRAPH______________
WHEREAS: : Section 1. All National agreements reached between the National Rural Letter Carriers' Association and the U.S. Postal Service shall be presented to the membership via the "National Rural Letter Carrier" magazine and in Ratification meeting held nationwide, with a minimum of one (1) within each State Association.
BE IT RESOLVED: : Section 1. All National agreements and Memorandums of Understanding’s reached between the National Rural Letter Carriers' Association and the U.S. Postal Service shall be presented to the membership via the "National Rural Letter Carrier" magazine and in Ratification meetings held nationwide, with a minimum of one (1) within each State Association.
INTENT OF/REASON FOR CHANGE: Since MOU’s become an official addition to the contract
previously ratified by the membership, they too should be ratified into the contract.
Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
