Looking for a few good... distributors.

It's time to start thinking about Spring time, and with Spring comes Beltaine!  I have a great feeling about this year with the economy turning for the better, many folks I have been talking to have already started making plans for Beltaine, most have talked about going to Our Haven for Beltaine.

The reason for this email is that I would like to start a sort of advertising campaign and to start early.  I already work on some of the web sites, but this year at Pagan Pride in Louisville this September, I was surprised to find that someone who lived less than 10 miles from Our Haven did not know anything about Our Haven, but she came to the PPD Louisville and now knows where and what it is and may be there for Beltaine.

The reason for this post is that I AM looking for a few distributors of information in cities around Our Haven.  I am talking about St. Louis, Chicago, Louisville, Bloomington, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and other points not listed here.  Even in schools in your town where there is a Pagan Student Union could be points.

I have assisted Our Haven in making promotional post cards for some of the events I have coordinated, but I have had some problems getting them out into people's hands who don't know about Our Haven and they decide to go some place else.  A sample of one is listed here for the Drum and Dance Fest this year:  http://mabon.ourhaven.info/2009/image/postcard.pdf

I am looking for folks in cities that are willing and able to dependably assist in being responsible in distributing promotional post cards in shops near where they live once they receive them.  Not just for Beltaine, but for all of the Our Haven events I send post cards to in your cities.

I am working with Mane and Mary about getting an inexpensive printing location near me that will be able to make double-sided color copies for a very low cost.  Currently, I am using my color laser printer and card stock I have purchased.  Then, I am looking at sending my distributors in their cities the post cards in mail to distribute to locations they have in mind.

I already have the Beltaine itch, and it isn't Samhain yet.  :)

Bill, You can count on LaDonna and me to get cards out in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Just get us the info and consider it distributed. Hope we can help just let us know.

Very cool.  I'll get with you at Samhain this weekend and we can go
over the logistics.

Would anyone else from Cincinnati, St. Louis or Chicago or other areas
be interested?

Also, if anyone has a shop and would like to display some of Our
Haven's literature (brochures, post cards, cards) I can get with you
as well.
