Leave Replacements receive "Act of God" pay
LEAVE REPLACEMENTS
WHEREAS: Leave replacements receive no pay for “Acts of God” days or Administrative leave even if scheduled to work.
BE IT RESOLVED: That Leave replacements receive a full days pay for “Act of God” days and Administrative leave if previously scheduled to work.
INTENT OF/REASON FOR CHANGE: Leave replacements loose a full days pay through no fault of their own on “Act of God” days or Administrative leave. They should be afforded the same leave as regular carriers if they were previously scheduled to work.
Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
