Laundry tip

I've started putting my laundry onto coathangers as soon as it gets out of the wash. that way it's easier to put on and take off the line.
The added bonus is that the cloths "hang" better and hardly need any pressing at all. When I bring them in,I hang them from an old fashioned rail.
Does anyone else do this?

 Good tip Buffs and something that I often do. I also wash clothing inside out, fold it straight from the machine and hang it with the neck away from the sun to stop 'odd' fading marks. I also peg tops with about 4 pegs evenly spaced so that it doesn't get those drooping sides to tshirts etc, plus I also find that stretching stuff back to shape prior to going on the line helps too!! I used to do a lot of ironing for peeps and so learnt to look after my stuff the easy way and my iron stays firmly in the cupboard!! I also re-dye lots of my basic clothing too. I have t-shirts that are about 6/8 years old, trousers too and usually it's the black or navy stuff that I machine dye occasionally.

I sound like I have OCD don't I? lol

yea i always fold them as soon as they are out of the washer and thats a good idea buffy about the coat hangers i will rty that

I also hang towels ,tea towels,pillow cases etc on skirt/trouser type hangers (  the ones with the clippy bits ) to dry indoors when the weathers wet. They usually dry overnight .
