Hi all, well it's July already, were are the months going.
Well, my eye is very sore and blood shot, i have to put a hat on when  i go out as the sun to protect my eye. I can see a lot better already,colours look soo much brighter. Hope every one is OK. Olive

Hello everyone, I'm back, have you missed me? What do you mean no!

Sorry I haven't been around, I have in France for a while on holiday, had a great first week the weather was fantastic but things went downhill from there, the weather turned awful and we were due to meet our son over there but he got off the ferry and put the wrong co-ordinates in satnav ending up 300 miles off course and then promptly broke down. They were in a hotel for 3 nights while the car was fixed but we drove over to where they were to keep them company and keep 9 month old George (our lovely grandson) amused.

Next thing I did something to my neck and started having terrible head pains, we had to curtail our holiday and the wife drove me home, I've been having headaches and dizzyness ever since, the doc says its a muscle spasm and will take time to heal. but it is gradulally getting better.

Anyway compared with what some folk have been suffering on here its very minor, so I'll shut up now. I hope you are all as well as can be, I will try to catch up on all the posts and keep coming back.

OH poor Graham of course we missed you, do you have one of those wheat bags that go into the microwave? that will do your neck good, hope you feel better soon, sorry you had to cut your hols short, we look forward so much to holidays, its very disappointing when they go wrong, hugs to you Graham
Olive I glad the every day you eyes seem to get better, this time next week you will be seeing all the lovely things you missed while your eyes have been bad.

Hi all, it's been raining realy bad the last few day, so is our summer over!

Don't know what append, still got our daughter,and the girls with use there house is such a mess to looks like we will be having them with us all the summer holidays,it's lovely having them with us the girls come in to see me first thing in the morning, and gives me a big kiss. Olive

hi olive hope this finds you well.its nice you have company with you.what about this weather eh? i am sick of this rain.last week when it was red hot i erected a makeshift tent over the washing lines with blackout linings so i could sit outside as icant sit in the sun i just burn. but i am looking foreward to the day when i can do it again sick of the wet. i must go and get ready need to pop to the doctors.

Hi elaine ann, i am feeling a little down a the minute, but it will pass it allways do's. Yes it's lovely have them with use, they are going to there other nans for tea tonight, the girls think it great, having soom meals here and some at there other nans.

Just a quick hi.
Hands still very bad, am awaiting blood test results to see if this is just another fibro symptom or not.

My daughter has become a dreaded teenager today, just hope she won't turn out to be grumpy like her brother!!

By the way as our symptoms include flue like - does that mean we all got swine flu??? maybe we been the carriers all along lol x

Hi Nikki, hope you get your hands, get sorted soon, but i bet it's that fibro again. Nikki it's soo hard went they get to the teens, was glad when the got into there twentys.
Went back to the hospital on monday, to have my eye checked, and all is well, he is putting me on the list to have my right eye done,then i may not have to have my glasses on all the time, only for reading.Olive

Im glad everything is good with your eyes Olive.
Ive thought about this Kerry, would we know if we had the swine flu, as one of the major symptoms is Muscle aches if I get a cold I will have to isolate myself coz no one would believe me.
Nikki don't listen to Olive it isn't better when they get older the are fantastic when the LEAVE, sorry Olive

Hi all, well not feeling to good at the minute,my ankles are soo sore going to the doctors about them, but he is not well so got to wait the first week in August.
Still got our daughter and the girls with us, think it will be last September before the house will be livable, but we love having them.

Blimey peeps - are we still keeping the NHS going? I reckon we could do it single handed!!  We're a right old bunch of sickies aren't we? I know there's a little gang of us at group meetings who just sit and laugh at ourselves 'cos we're all so chronic!! It drives the professional sickies mad  Don't forget girls, even tho' the newsletter was weeks early, it's NEXT wednesday but like I said to someone else (who was that?), I'll either be late or not there at all  My cousin is visiting from Stoke and so is my brother from London so we're going to be a right little gang of hoodlums so you never know, we may just pop in and terrorise the meeting!! Well - get a cup of tea and a biscuit more like!!

Hi everyone

Well finally got my neck better but guess what? I've done my bloody back in now . Its my own fault I was playing with the kids in the garden, bending down and pushing them down a water slide we had set up when all of a sudden my back went. It was painful but didn't seem too bad at first and I managed to walk about albiet gingerly but today its really bad and I've had to stay put all day with a hot water bottle on it. My better half has been rubbing deep heat on it too, so hopefully it will improve soon.

Its amazing though if ever I get something non fibro related like this, it seems to bring on a fibro flare, its as if the fibro is saying "ah, he's feeling a bit poorly lets hit him with the fibro as well", does anyone else find the same?

Anyway hoping to get back on my feet properly soon because we are off in the camper van again in a weeks time for a week on the east coast.

Orrrrr poor Graham, its not often you have a moan I hope your back feels better soon.
My knee is still playing up I'm sick and tired of every time I decide to do something I get pains.. We went to the Weston Beer festival yesterday, I don't like real ale but Steve does I had a couple of glasses of cider, Steve tried 8 different beers, he was giggling on the way home, it was funny but we went on the bus, I don't think I have ever been on the bus with him.

Sounds like your Steve is a man after my own heart, I have been known to sample the odd pint of real ale myself.
