 I layed down a few chords into a progression just for fun, then tried to sing these lyrics.
it does not sound bad at all, however i had to make the following changes just to fit the
lyrics in and rhyme some of them.

   I changed: you never cared if you lost anyway   to
                   you never cared if you lost your way

it fit better.
there's a couple other minor ones too.
