Jade Goody Dies On Mothers Day

Jade Goody, 27 years old of UK's Big Brother Reality TV Show fame has died in her sleep at 3:55am, 22nd March 2009 at her home in Upshire,Essex, England.
Jade has suffered a public battle with cervical cancer, has been highlighted in the British media for several months.
Goody's mother Jackiey Budden commented "My beautiful daughter is at peace."
Jade's publicist Max Clifford said Jade's mother Jackiey and husband Jack Tweed were at her bed side.
Clifford said "I think she's going to be remembered as a young girl who has, and who will, save an awful lot of lives," referring to her public battle with cancer raised awareness.
Max CLifford also said "She was a very, very brave girl and she faced her death in the way she faced her whole life full on, with a lot of courage."
It is a sad irony that Jade, who had two young sons Bobby, five, and Freddie, four had died on Mother's Day.
Jade Goody fans, friends and family started arriving at the house to pay tribute to Goody within minutes of the breaking news. Floral tributes were left at the gates of her Essex home.
Who was Jade Goody?
Jade Cerisa Lorraine Goody (5 June 1981 – 22 March 2009) was a British celebrity. She came into the spotlight while appearing on the third series of the Channel 4 reality TV show Big Brother in 2002, an appearance which led to her own television programmes and the launch of her own products after her eviction.
In January 2007, she was a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother. During the show she was accused of racist bullying against Indian actress Shilpa Shetty. Following her eviction from the show, she admitted her actions had been wrong and she subsequently made many public apologies.
In August 2008, she appeared on the Indian version of Big Brother, Bigg Boss, but withdrew early from the show and returned to the UK after being told she had cervical cancer. In February 2009, after the cancer metastasised, she was told that it was terminal.She married Jack Tweed on 22 February 2009.
