Hi GeoNetwork users,
I am wondering if GeoNetwork can be used as a metadata repository so that other OAI clients can harvest the data from that GeoNetwork node.
Does GeoNetwork support the OAI API server implementation?
I wonder if I can test this the following way:
- Setup two GeoNetwork nodes on two (dedicated) servers
- Setup the harvest option on the client side, adding a OAI harvest type and point to the other server (192.168.1.xxx:8080/geonetwork) and run the harvest process.
I get an error symbol when running the harvest process. Is my approach totally nonsense or do I have to set some configurations of the server to enable the OAI protocol?
