If you created plone-ga.po in the i18n directory, it should appear in
PlacelessTranslationService.
Please verify your file is well-formed with :
msgfmt -cv plone-ga.po
(You have to install the gettext package to have this command on Ubuntu)
You don't have to create atcontenttypes-ga.po and others right now,
you can do it later when you are ready to translate.

To test your translation you can use plonnext 3.3 like I described in
the thread "Test your translation in context!" the 22 May is this
mailing-list.
