As the Speaker rightfully pointed out, the results of this election had more to do with the failures of our current government than about ideology. The liberal pundits have already begun trying to push the President-elect to the left of center asserting that the American people clearly have become more liberal. This is NOT the case. But additionally, having had 8 years of Bush's "matter-of-fact", good ol' country boy style, people were thirsty for inspiration. To say that McCain was less than inspirational is an understatement. Clearly, Obama was very inspirational.
It's about time the conservative movement and the Republican party opens their eyes to the bright young faces and ideas who can lead this Country going forward.
