Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

Hello,

I don’t exactly where to post but I think I’m at the right place.

A while ago, I opened a ticket and it has not been updated yet to tell if it will be fixed or not and when.

Even no comment about if it is really a bug or if that bug has been filled at the right place.

Maybe a so long delay (3 months) is normal; if yes please tell me when I can expect an answer.

The ticket I’m talking about is http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/ticket/349

Regards,

Pierre

As far as I know, there is no way for the ODBC provider to programmatically determine the appropriate primary key for that view, so something (FDO, Studio) is making a “safe” guess of all of the columns.

I suspect that this is more of a MapGuide Studio enhancement request than a bug request in FDO, where Studio would have to be modified to allow the user to override the primary key for view-based feature sources.

I’ve done that.

Unfortunately, neither FDO or MapGuide have a dedicated resource for managing the trac instance, and ADSK folks (as far as I know) still use their internal issue tracker primarily, so issues can easily be overlooked, not categorized properly, etc.
