Hi All, It has been brought to
my attention that among the Utah Constitutional Amendments that we will
be asked to vote on this election is "Amendment E" which proposes to
allow SITLA and other state assets to be invested in bonds of private companies.
This is obviously always a very bad idea, but especially given
the current situation! Can you say Cloud Rock &
Lions Back developments? Both SITLA property. Hopefully all voters
will pick up on this and vote NO. It is a dangerous and slippery slope. I'm
afraid voters will get tired of reading before they get to it on the ballot, do
we need an ad or two about it?
I feel that SITLA is behaving Very Irresponsibly and should NOT
be given any further power than they already Wield over our land! Please
share this with your Networks asap – and consider running ads in your
areas. This is a Very important issue and will most likely be at the
bottom of the electronic ballots. Also, the issue of retaining Lyle
Anderson on the bench in Grand County, please consider voting NO here as
well. If you’re interested in discussing either issue, please
contact me directly and I’d love to discuss! Thanks!

and added my own comments, just to be clear.
