I'm trying hypnotherapy again next week with a lady who came to our group and told us about her work and as I've used hypno a few times before, I can say that she has a fantastic approach to life, is experienced enough to wear the t-shirt and will hopefully help me and our Jen with the daily issues that need sorting!! NLP by the way, if you don't know, is neuro linguistic programming and is one of those useful skills that you can use at any time to give yourself a goal or a kick in the pants!! I've not had that before but have tried to be positive when I can anyway so hopefully it'll build or correct things I learnt myself over the years. I think it was a sign when my brother gave me a cheque that was the tie up amount from my mums estate and I wasn't expecting it - otherwise I couldn't have afforded it!! Thanks Mum!!

Will let you know how I get on dealing with my subconcious!!! /

How's it going?
I'm trying to work with NLP. I have a book, it's a start.

Hi all - been to my hypno today and Jen to her second appointment. I feel more positive, thats for sure and am envisaging myself at a nice size 14 ......... can you see it too!!!! Jen seems to be more happy and positive. Anyway, onwards and upwards, I think theres a lot to take on board from all sides of this household but I'm fed up with food being lord and master sometimes!! I won't make any further appointments yet but Jen is booked in again next week.

Books are a good place to start Buff as you can pick them up just when you need them. Jackie suggested a book/dvd called The Secret today and said it's very good so I'm popping over to Amazon shortly to check it out!!

How about ringing each other for a bit of cheap NLP Buff?

I've watched the video of The Secret and I've been trying to apply it in everyday life.
I find that my initial reactions to unpleasant situations are still "doom and gloom" but once I can sit and think about something, I apply the laws of Attraction and it doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. Also the time that doom and gloom lasts is getting much smaller.  It's hard to express without sounding like a looney but I can recommend "The Secret"......It's well worth the money.
I think Sam D from the old site had a copy. I remember chatting to her about it.
Dave watched the Secret and gave up smoking after 30 years without patches or replacements.... and he hasn't had a cigerette since.
If you can focus on the good stuff then life is easier.
