For those of you that were interested in the hunting workshop, it is coming!  We have set the date for January 31st and promise to make it happen!  We're sorry about the last one, we just didn't have enough interest to bring all of our instructors in.

One of the pieces of hunting in Utah is drawing a tag.  In order to apply for a draw you must have your Hunter's Safety Education.  This is a great time to get this done and draws for many species start at the beginning of the year!  There are two courses that are being offered locally:

The first is a traditional course (classes, instructor, tests) offered by Darrell Benson.  The first class is being offered at the Moab Library on December 28th at 5pm.  You can call Darrell for more information at 435-260-8107.  The cost of the class is $10.00

The second option is the internet course.  You do most of the coursework online and then you finish up with a field test.  This is being offered by Paul Washburn in Monticello on January 24th.  This means that you have to complete all online coursework prior to the 24th.  Again, the cost is $10.00 You can contact Paul at paulwashburn@utah.gov for more information.

We hope to see you at the end of January.  Again, sorry about the last workshop.  Get signed up for one of the Hunter's Safety courses and you can sign up for our workshop at 435-259-BEAN.
