Dear all,

I have searched the mailing list's archive on
http://www.nabble.com/Hibernate-Spatial---Users-f27246.html but
couldn't find the answer...

Basically - would that work? I have some users who doesn't have full
Oracle 10/11 licenses but still would like to use hibernate spatial.

Big thanks, have a good weekend

Hi,

Oracle XE should work for basic usage. Unfortunately, Oracle XE is
limited in that some of the spatial functions don't seem to work
properly, e.g. conversion to WKT (on 10g at least).

Regards,

Karel
