Hi Everyone!
My name is Aquarious and I am a resident of the freezing cold, sub-arctic Indiana terrain. Brrr....!!! I am getting ready to turn 29 next month and am looking forward to re-newing my driver's license and hopefully getting a decent picture taken of me this time. I sort of look like a slobbering Yeti in my current picture. lol!
When I am not working at my factory job, I like to write short novels and play video games. My favorite video game series by far is the Legend of Zelda with particular favorites being Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. I also like to watch tv from time to time after I have fried my brain out from writing so much. Currently, one of my favorite shows to watch is the "Estate of Panic". It was on SciFi quite briefly back in November and December before being pulled from the air rather quickly and mysteriously. I have found the show to be quite creative and clever...also a great source of inspiration for a new novel that I am working on. Most of the episodes can now be found on YouTube.
I also enjoy keeping active. This past summer I was able to score a WiiFit from E-bay and have used it everyday with fantastic results. I am actually in better shape now that when I was in college and working out at the gym. One other thing I really enjoy is long walks through the woods with only my ipod and my imagination. Having graduated from Purdue University with a double major in Health and Fitness and Health Promotion, keeping fit and healthy is pretty important to me. I have also taken graduate courses in Health Counseling and Persuasion Theory. The study of various theories across disciplines is also a passion of mine. Particularly theories involved in Psychology, Health Promotion, Sociology, Epidemiology, and Quantum Physics really draw my interest. Being the hard-core dork that I can be at times, one thing that I truly enjoy is engaging in intellectual conversation and healthy debate.
This past July 2008, I was fortunate enough to have my first novel, Domain of Illusion, published by Inkwater Press. It's a short fantasy novel of about 148 pages and it seems to be gaining in popularity. I've asked some professional book reviewers to review it and have recieved some very positive responses! Check out www.thebookbag.co.uk and www.fantasybookreview.co.uk for more details. The book was written under the author name: E. A. Sunden. For the past several months, I have been working on the sequel to Domain of Illusion that I have titled: Domain of Illusion: The Guild of the Forgotten Omen. Like its predecessor, The Guild of the Forgotten Omen will have hidden meanings, metaphors and messages embedded within the story. To date, however, not one person has been able to tell me with confidence what social/health issue is being targeted in the Domain series. Which means that I need to work on my communication skills so as these hidden items can become more apparent.
