Dear David-Reyes,
Our nonprofit charity in Salt Lake City was given an OpenMoko phone as a donation. I thought it would be good because at our Diabetic camp we have satellite Internet but no phone service or dsl.
I would like to see if I can use this gift to communicate with the outside world while at camp. It is a very scary thing sometimes to have 300 diabetic children away from any cell tower or landline phone. We have a full medical staff at camp and we have never had a medical situation that we could not handle in camp, but you never know when this will happen.
I have installed the Koolu image of Android on the phone but I am having a hard time getting everything to work. I think running a OS image would give me a larger number of communication options.
David, I am new at this openmoko phone and could use any guidance you are willing to provide. The diabetic children at the Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes thank you.
Have a super day.
Karl
