I need to have an audio player send out audio on my line-out on the PC while I'm recording on the line-in but I don't want the audio from the line-in going out with the audio on the line-out. Hopefully that horrible statement will make sense to somebody. Anyways I'm wondering if this is something in the hardware/os that can't be controlled or is it being done in Audacity and is there a way to control it or do I need to code my own version of audacity? Any thoughts are much appreciated. (and yes I realize I could have another device play the audio to avoid this problem)
