Just for the record I hate talking about myself on these things, it always comes off like I'm saying look at me, look at me.
That said here goes.
I've been writing for a very long time, well for the sake of honest it's been 20 odd years, I am not as published as I would like to be but really who is other than Stephen King these days.
Sheesh that man has a new book out like every other week or so, go Stephen.
Anyway I use to just write fantasy for fun during school, now I want to try it out as a profession. Over the years I have written many a tech. manual or science essay for various magazines which pays okay but it's not interesting unless you absolutely love the field.
I also cashier on the side, of course it was that or waitress, so yea I'm your typical as of yet undiscovered writer doing the best I can to get by. In my spare time I write screenplays which my friends and I use to film for our own enjoyment but since I moved two years ago it's too much of a hassle getting everybody together.
Special effects are a specialty of mine besides writing, I make monsters, gunshot wounds, knife wounds, burns, etc. It's something I do for fun but it helps me create some of my darker characters when I can't really see them in my minds eye.
Well that's me hope it didn't come off as lame as it makes me feel to write it. Oh yea I did go to college and have a degree in creative writing as much as that has helped me out so far. Maybe I'll go back for something else one day. D.
