Geotools 2 and j2me ?

Hi,

I intend building a location based system for mobile devices. I will like to ask if geotools or a subset of it can be used for building a j2me application.

I will also appreciate it if I can get links to other open source j2me map libraries.

Cheers,

Roman

The code has been used in a J2me context many years ago; I don't think
the required changes were ever formally released. GeoTools is strictly
a Java library so as long as you steer clear of coverage support
needing JAI you should be good for J2me.

Hi Roman,
I have not had a chance myself to play with geotools + j2me, however I
would be very interested in knowing what you find eventually out.

Simone.
