Attached is my newly revised and expanded Chapter 6 of Plank 1 of the
Renewable Deal on geothermal energy.  It contains, as the other
chapters will when I get them done, how much carbon dioxide is offset
by each 10,000 kw of installed capacity of the renewable
resource.  Note that the West Desert of Utah is a high-level resource
area for installations of binary geothermal solar electric
plants.  Binary geothermal solar electric plants have a much higher
duty capacity than either coal or nuclear power plants do.  Who needs
coal and nukes, and who in their right mind would invest in these
obsolete power-generating technologies with all their fuel-cycle cost
and environmental risk issues?
