To answer your question, the Marketcetera platform currently only supports the FIX protocol for order sending.  Connectivity through the proprietary IB API is possible, but since it is not widely applicable to our user base, (in addition to problems with proprietary licenses for the IB libraries), it is unlikely that we will provide this as part of the open-source platform.

Marketcetera does however provide custom development work, and we would certainly be able to do this as part of a consulting engagement.  Please let me know if that would be something that would interest you.  Thanks.
