Bonjour, Je cross-poste sur les listes osm-talk-fr et osgeo francophone pour proposer un document à traduire, en relation avec le changement de licence en cours de OSM. Il s'agit du premier fichier PDF en lien ci-dessous, qui est récemment parvenu à tous les membres de la Fondation OSM. Ce document me semble clair, bien renseigné et surtout instructif autour de cette question importante qu'est le changement de licence.
J'ai proposé à Michael mon aide pour la traduction, avec celle des personnes eventuellement intéressées sur ces deux listes. En crowd-sourcant, ça peut aller plus vite ;-)
Quelle serait la meilleure méthodologie pour arriver à cette traduction ? - mettre le doc sur un wiki, diviser en sections, que chacun s'attribuerait ?

As you are probably aware, we and the OpenStreetMap community have been working on a license upgrade for OpenStreetMap geodata. Our formal proposal is now complete and you can read it at http://www.osmfoundation.org/images/3/3c/License_Proposal. pdf. We will be asking you as a Foundation member to vote yes or no on this license change in the near future. The OpenStreetMap Foundation board will meet on November 10th to consider whether voting should start, possibly on November 11th. You can find more information about the implementation plan at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Open_Data_License/Implementation_Plan . In a nutshell, we are proposing shifting from CC-BY-SA, designed for creative works only, to the Open Database License ("ODbL"), the first license specially designed for open databases with "Share Alike" provisions. The ODbL has been developed over two years by the Open Data Commons in close cooperation with the Foundation. You can compare summaries of the two licenses here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/ http://www.opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/summary/ We have tried to make everything clear in the proposal document but if you have specific questions, we will monitor and respond to any discussion on the osmf-talk mailing list. Découper la doc en fichier d'une page si possible, cela dépand des informations, parfois il faut garder plusieurs pages pour avoi un tout cohérent. Les placer en lignes. Définir une page wiki et un espace d'échange opur la relecture. La procédure de l'OSGeo-fr est bien en place et tout peut être activé rapidement. Il faut cependant une personne référante vers laquelle se tourner en cas de problème et qui va suivre le projet pour lancer les rappels, corriger les soucis, etc. Le svn est il vraiment important ? Je ne pense pas surtout si le document n'a pas vocation a être modifié par la suite.
