What is Open Access?Open Access provides readers with barrier-free access to
journal articles and digital information published on the Web. Open Access publications are free of most copyright and licence restrictions and there is no fee for accessing, printing or downloading material. Open Access promotes sharing and collaborating among researchers and may increase the visibility, dissemination and citation rates of published articles.
