A blog on the MEN website [1] has announced that the MDDA will be
holding an unconference in Manchester allowing people to get involved
or have their say over the government's new strategy outlined in the
recent Digital Britain report [2].
It's taking place on the evening of May 12th, so a week before the
next MFS talk (also somewhat related to government initiatives,
details coming soon!). More details and registration information are
available [3].
This is a great opportunity to voice or hear opinion on something that
is really important to all of us. I hope to see lots of free software
advocates there with me!
