What happened to the digests? I thought it was voted in. I voted for the digest because I think we should stick with our community projects in this organization. I would send these pictures to my friends, but not to an organization. Kevin, I grew up with these pictures. I had a good friend who was all crippled up from polio that he got while living in a Jewish Ghetto in Shanghai while escaping from Hitler's Germany. He and his brother left for England, but he met a group going to Shanghai and he chose to go with them. His brother went on to England and was caught and killed. My friend was 13 years old at the time. I knew people where my mother worked who had tattoos on their arm from Auchwitz and other camps. They weren't killed and were scheduled for medical experiments. Fortunately for them the war ended. I understand your horror, but still I do not think you should send it to anyone but people you know. Apparently, regardless of how one feels about the appropriateness of sending this to folks one doesn't know, there is another reason that probably argues against sending it forward: according to Snopes, the statement that the UK no longer teaches about the Holocaust, in deference to Muslims, is false. http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/holocaust.asp I thought I had seen this before and had checked it out, so I checked it again, at the site noted above. I appreciate and support the intention to rebut, strongly, Holocaust deniers. But I'm afraid that the effect, if not the primary purpose, of this e-mail is to engender anti-Muslim feelings. I know Kevin and I know that wasn't his intention, but I thought I better say something right away, before anybody did send this forward with the inaccurate claim about the UK contained in it. Mike, I am glad you caught it. I've also lived in the Middle East, in Jordan, and what I learned while living there was so completely different than what I was taught in America about the Arabs. We don't need anymore false information to generate more hate.
