Hello,
It would seem that the FpML standard provides one potential basis
for implementing general asset classes in Photon (and the rest of the
marketcetera platform).
Robert, do you have a requirement to support FpML (of a certain
version)? Can you say anything more about the asset types that you
are interested in?
For the marketcetera people, would it be possible to support FpML
within the MP? FIX 4.4 has support for the SecurityIDSource to link
to a FpML document URL. Personally, I've successfully generated code
from the FpML 4.1 XML schema definitions with XMLBeans, but haven't
tried to integrate it with Photon or the other parts of the MP.
Any volunteers?
