I like Buffy's idea better, I am hoping we get some more men on here so I can talk about "man things" like football.

Hi everyone

So we do have some football fans, there is no need for anyone to hide their heads in shame whatever club you support because my head hangs lower than anyones I support...............

Wait for it.................................

Notts County

There I've said it now the truth is out but I can cope with it. Next season is our season you'll see.

Heather  as a Derby fan you will know Michael Johnson, he started with us as a lad then went to Derby and now he has gone full cycle and has come back home now he is almost ready for the knackers yard. Only joking he's still a great player.............well at our level anyway.

Joo - Bristol Rovers eh, you've poached one of our best players David Pipe!!! As for Rugby  chasing an egg shaped ball around? What's all that about

Hi Graham it could have been worse, you could have been a forest fan  I know I shouldn't hang my head in shame, but we beat the record, we scored lowest points since the premiership began lol yes Michael Johnson, is a great player, and I think we might still need him for next season, I cant see derby going straight back up. Good for you though supporting Notts county, I think it is good not to jump on the band wagon of supporting one of the top clubs, My grandson goes to see Burton Albion every week and he really enjoys it, it is a local club and the ticket price is what he can afford out of his pocket money, the thing is since he has been going, last season I was more excited about albion reslts than Derbys lol
There you see Graham, thats a good bit of footie conversation lol

Heather wash your mouth out you've said the F-word, we Notts County fans never mention the word F*rest.

I've been a Notts fans since I was a lad, I was born and brought up within spitting distance of the ground so its in my blood I'm afraid. I will be there next season through thick and thin, sometimes I wonder what I have done to deserve it. I've even passed the dreaded curse on to one of my sons and he comes with me. Poor lad

Hey, can I get in on this footy chat.........
I was born and brought up in spitting distance of the Vetch Field. Swansea City's Home util two seasons ao when they moved to the new Liberty Stadium. (I cried...and went to the last home game at he Vetch which was coincidentally with Macclesfield who my other half supports.)
Swansea are now in the championship and Macc are still in League 2. The onl drawback is that Cardiff are championship too and the rivalry between the two is dreadful. Swansea town  centre used to be trashed everytime Cardiff came to the Vetch. Then the police took over and fans where escorted from the station to the field and back again. Fans were segregated to avoid trouble. I saw a man chased down our street and battered by about 10 blokes... I was about 8 and we lived in a  little street, no more than 28 houses in all.  On one occasion my mother found a finger in a glass left on our windowsill. Bizarre!
Back to the football. I xan't wait for the new season, I thouroughly enjoyed Euro 2008. Even if we had no representation, there were some great games... except for when the greeks were playing, they just keep possession of the ball at the back, it was wasteful.
Jake supports Chelsea and has done since he was about 6. Jake is a goalie, he plays with a local team they are rubbish but he enjoys throwing himself about.
Rhys suppported Derby last season cos he thought someone should given that they were getting hammered...but the money they made from TV rights will keep them going for a few seasons. Even if they don't go straight back up, it will give them some bouyancy.
Dave is a lifelong Man City fan.....though he feels compromised now that thai billionaire has bought them... and sacked Erickson after one season, where they actually finished in the top ten.... how can he think that Mark Hughes can do better than Sven?
It won't be long now..... maybe we should have our own fantasy football league...lol....
What do you think?

Yes Joy get on the van thread, camping is camping whether van, tent or caravan.

So you are near Daggers ground eh, Notts County were in a desperate battle to stay in the league last season along with Dagenham, thankfully they both survived.
