I've just lost all my info from my PC. I transferred everything to a portable hard drive to clear some space on my Cdrive and the portable unit is effed, all my pictures, all my card prototypes, all my legally aquired music downloads loads and loads of work and stuff.  I am not a happy bunny!

Hi Buffy

This happened to us a few years ago, we lost lots of irreplaceable photos, documents etc. I make sure everything is backed up every month now, I even copy photos from the main computer to our laptop and also to a free standing hard drive, so we have got three copies in case anything happens.

Its really annoying and can be heart breaking when it happens.

i hate it when it does that Buffy  thats why hubby has four copys of ours he has them all over the place and the stuff thats more importand than anything else we put on memory sticks  then if own happens all we have to do in bung them in and hey presto its back

Hi all,
the annoying thing is that I always kept a copy... it's just I had deleted it as Dave was moaning the PC was running slowly. So now I have a faster loading pc but nothing else. I keep sitting and looking for something, only to remember it's all gorn.
If I remember I've lost something then it's disapointing but I won't remember all of it, so my disapointments are limited. I'm enjoying teasing Dave about his responsibility in the event.
