Well, I'm new here, but I've been writing lyrics for a while, and I'd like to see what others think of them.
Here is one of my works, titled:

Isolation in my Arms

-------------------
She is a bird in the night sky
Flying high in the dark with no one by her side
She looks down at the world
She flies above
And sees a million bright lights
Of which she isnt one
Yet im standing on the ground
Looking upwards towards the sky
And shes my only one

And she flies
Far away
From the empty sky around her
And I cry
She should stay
Here and open up her eyes

Everything she's ever wanted
Has been in front of her face
But she is blind to the world
That tore a hole through her heart
She feels so alone with no one by her side
But im standing right beside her as she cries

She is a fish in the deep sea
Of emotional death and all that shouldn't be
She looks up at the surface
She sinks below
And sees a billion bright lights
But the darkness grows
Yet im floating at the top
My face in the water gazing down
Shes all that i know

And she flies
Far away
From the empty sea around her
And I cry
She should stay
Here and open up her eyes

Everything she's ever wanted
Has been in front of her face
But she is blind to the world
That tore a hole through her heart
She feels so alone with no one by her side
But im standing right beside her as she cries

And I die
As she cries
Out for help thats already here
And I cry
As she dies
From isolation in my arms

Everything she's ever wanted
Has been in front of her face
But she is blind to the world
That tore a hole through her heart
She feels so alone with no one by her side
But im standing right beside her as she cries

Everything she's ever wanted
Has been in front of her face
But she is blind to the world
That tore a hole through her heart
She feels so alone with no one by her side
I'll be standing right beside her 'till I die
