PLIP Implementers,

A reminder that all* final PLIP implementations are due by Wednesday
September 30 . The FWT would greatly appreciate them being in sooner
rather than later. Feel free to argue any review comments on the
mailing list.

Once finished, please add a comment with "ready for merge" to your
PLIP ticket so that I know to point the FWT at it.

Thanks,
Eric

*I'm tossing out the "batch 1" deadlne since I spaced on making sure
everyone was aware of it. Shaaaame on me.

For everyone's benefit, can you qualify "due"? What exactly needs to be
done by September 30th (including notification steps)?

"Due" means:
1) Fix the problems the reviewers found with your implementation or
document your justification for not doing so.
2) Provide us with an implementation that does what it says it does,
installs properly, and I can package into Plone 4.0a1
3) Update your "documentation needed" section as necessary. I'll be
siccing the doc team on you over the next few weeks.

Once you've accomplished the above, add a comment to your PLIP ticket
stating "ready for merge" so that I know to have your reviewers take a
final look at it before the FWT votes again.

Anything else I'm missing?

Eric

We are working on fixing issues, which were pointed by reviewers.
http://dev.plone.org/plone/ticket/9309

Since the magnitude of change, it may take some extra days to finish.
I hope our PLIP9309 is still on pending on October 1st, rather than
dropped.
