Thanks to Minny and Kerry I'm asking for peeps experience with Fibro.
I am 52, I think Ive had Fibro for a lot longer than been diagnosed, I think its about 4 years now.
My biggest pain problem is my knees lower back and left shoulder,
My problem with fatigue is better now I take 50mg Amiriptaline(SP) before it was terrible, I would get up tired and go to bed tired, now with the Amitrp it took about 5 weeks to get used to them I used to go to sleep at work but I persevered and now i can get through the day ok.
The mental side of Fibro is the worst and getting worse, I loose concentration, memory is shocking (I had been invited to a BBQ last Tuesday, Ive just had an email to ask where i was, I had forgotten), trying to remember words its ok everyone laughing about it but sometimes its very frustrating.
So it doesn't matter what age you are the symptoms are usually the same.
That me, now its your turn.
What goes round comes round, its a shame you cant be a fly on the wall to watch it happen.

hi folks
when my son christopher was about 3 i left my husband and went to live with mum and dad.a few months after this i went down with a virus,i was really ill swollen joints could not walk.then got better but always feeling off.then seven years ago i had the same virus again only worse and from then the fibro started terrible.i was taken to hospital the day me were moving house which was a good thing really as they did find out what the virus was its parvo virus b19 the human form which has symptoms of measles.
but when we moved we were going to a bungalow council b ut its alright.my fibro is terrible at the moment its in my shoulders arms back i cant lift my left arm which i am fed up about as i like to knit and have some baby knitting to do.i also am my husbands carer as he has diabetes and epilepsy so have to get up some nights to sort out his hypos get the paramedics etc,so this is why i can only take 10mg of amytriptaline.
if i had anything stronger i would not know he was hypo and he could go i a coma.
john is great about my fybro understands but i wonder if he was in full health would he feel the same?.my sisters etc dont understand at all and my mum.i read the article on the web that said people who dont suffer from fibro should locate the pressure point at the back of the neck and and press ahrd this gives you a pain, then they said imagine that pain all day long that what people with fibro feel.i had a great day yesterday did not get dressed we ust listened to music all day fab
have a good day girls and graham
