I thought i was having a good few days, so i went on a long walk sat, spent the majority of sun preparing, cooking and washin up the pots for sunday dinner. My son decided he wanted to start biking to school today, so i went with him!!!! Now i know i've done too much. My back is killing me and i feel exhausted!!! plus i think i've got yet another head cold coming on!!

Blah Blah Blah, just needed a good old moan!!

Ha ha!! Having a whinge always feels better after you've written it down doesn't it? Means you've got a handle on it and can crack on with something else!!

As for riding bikes and all that work - what were you thinking woman????? The trick is to let the kids expend energy and you cheer them on!! If you want any grandma type tricks, just ask!!

It was half term last week, and felt so bad,cos i couldn't do the things i used to do in the house and with my son, plus i was feeling fed up!!! So i decided to do a few things, but i paid for it!!! Thats the thing with me though, i feel good, so do too much, then end up on burn out and pay for it!!!!  Need to change my whole mind set, that i can't do theese things like i used to, but is very hard!!!

I think one of the lessons I've learnt with fibro is to plan as much ahead as possible so knowing that school hols are coming every few months try to suss out organised activities in your town and also tie in with some non-fibro friend who could step in at the last minute with lifts maybe. There's always something going on and they are often free which is better still!! How old are your kids?

Yeh sounds a good idea, will have to do some research for the next half term break. Cheers Joo. Just have the one child, my son aged 12. He will amuse himself on the pc, or x-box etc, but if the weather's nice, its nice to go out. Plus it dosen't do them good being stuck in all day every day!!!
