Feeling really Ill!!!!

Sorry folks, i've not been on here for a while. Hope you are all ok!!  

Been really ill this past 5-6 weeks!! It started with a bad cold/flu like symptoms, then went into my throat, which felt so tight, and my glands were up. Then i started coughin, and it went onto me chest and for about a week i couddn't breathe properly. After 4 weeks, went to the docs, and got told i had a chest infection!! Was given anti-biotics, steriods and an inhaler, cos was told it had brought asthma on. Finished all the pills last week and thought i was finally on the mend, but not feeling well again. Am just so lathargic, all i want to do is sleep, and my throat and glands are hurting again. Just rang the docs, and got in today!!
Has anyone elso on ere been ill for this long. It is really getting me down, along with the fibro!!!! Any feedback will be much appreciated, or any advice or tips on how to boost me immune system.... please...

Its because of the Fibromyalgia, everything seems to get magnified, so a simple cold ends up like the worst flu you ever had, you need to start to pace yourself don't do things too quickly, I know you are only young Minny but Fibro doesn't seem to have an age, even kids have it.. another thing is to keep yourself warm have a blanket over you when watching TV and gloves and woolly socks(you might look a bugger when its warm out) but sod whatever peeps think, I hope you will feel better soon sending gentle hugs.

Cheers Wendy, got myself in at the docs today, and been told got a viral infection this time. Told him i've been ill for nearly 6 weeks now. He said he can't give me anything for a viral infection, i've just been unlucky. I said great, so i've waited an hour to see you, and there's nothing you can do for me, am well fed up.
The prob is that recently i haven't been doing much, just the basics. Luckily i don't work tho, thank god, cos i'd prob hav the sack by now!!!!!  Just wanna be better.xxx

hi mini hope you feel better soon,
i had a chest infection a few weeks ago did not last too long but it took me a while to get over it.
been to the doctors today for results of the scan on my shoulder.and as i was walking through dr parkinson looked at me as though i was the rent man.he probably thinks god shes here again but its because i have had to have two diferent sorts of scans then you have to go and get the results he is a sh..t head anyway.
so hope you are going to get better soon.

Oh Elaine Anne its rotten when you have a crappy Dr, my Dr is fab but there is a couple at the surgery who are just the same, but the receptionists are the one to fear

Yeh why is it that some docs aren't sympathetic!!! never mind hey. At last i hope, i'm feeling a lot better. Still tired, and can't seem to shift this awfull headache, but never mind, u can't have it all can u!! lol

Anyway thanx for all ur support, u really are a great bunch of people, and i'll try to come on here more regular, sorry peeps
