Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)
False Positives. I am running opennms (btw rules) on a XenServer 5.5 with a 2GB uplink to my switch stack.  I am finding a TON of false positives.  Is this a threshold issue or is there a log I can look at to see why this is happening?

Are they all threshold events or are there also nodeLostService events?

I'm still quite new to this but might we isolate whether it is a network
or an ONMS problem by setting up a continuous ping from the ONMS server
outside of ONMS to one of the false positive targets.  See if you are
dropping packets.  If so, the problem is probably not ONMS but the
network.  If not, something is awry inside ONMS.  Hope this helps - John
