Hi,

both navigation portlet and sitemap use the same infrastructure for
querying their items using recursive catalog queries.

Since only content objects are listed in the catalog only content
objects can appear in navigation portlet or sitemap.

Is the a non-hacking way to include/inject additional elements into the
navigation tree? (E.g. to add a simple page template or to let appear
the "result set" of a collection as "virtual subpages" of the collection
in the navigation tree?)

Thanks in advance

Michael

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)
There is a product to construct the navigation I think
There is also an "alias" prouduct.

I think they are  on  plone.org products site
