So, I may have really botched this, but I'm hoping I can recover the data.
I have an intel Mac running 10.4x with Plone 2.5.3. I have regular backups of the Plone 2.5.3 folder from the Applications folder so I've got the data.
I decided to upgrade the OS as well as Plone during a break and did a clean install of the OS to go to 10.5x.
I drug the original Plone 2.5.3 folder back to the Applications folder.
I installed Plone 3.0.
I started the 3.0 site.
I can access the 3.0 site through my browser.
I shut the 3.0 site down.
I then moved the 2.5.3 data.fs file over to the 3.0 site.
I restarted the 3.0 site and now the 3.0 site is not accessible through the browser.
I've tried to shut down the 3.0 site and start the 2.5.3 site, but it fails.
I've re-installed the original 3.0 data.fs file and the 3.0 site still fails (this is after a shut down and restart of Plone).
Now I'm at a loss. I can rebuild, but its got a lot of data to recover. There's some I just can't without getting it from the original data.fs file and I'm hoping to not loose it.
Are there any thoughts? Questions to help get thoughts?
