I wanted to try out FacultyStaffDirectory with Plone installed via
Unifiedinstaller 3.3rc3. There are two issues. 1) I don't get FSD to work properly. 2) I cannot uninstall membrane using the quickinstaller. ad 1) I added eggs = Products.FacultyStaffDirectory into my buildout.cfg, restarted bin/buildout and then added a faculty staff directory. After several unsuccessful attempts, I could add a person. But I was unable to check the "faculty" checkbox for that person. (The trace is at the end of this mail.) Is there somewhere a longer description or a screen case of how to work with FSD. I seem to be doing something wrong, but I don't know what. ad 2) I uninstalled FSD 2.1.1.2 and Relations 0.8.1 successfully. If I tick membrane 1.1b5 (which is installed with FSD), I see the following page: ------------------ We’re sorry, but there seems to be an error… The error has been logged as entry number 1246659109.640.531889681393. If you need to report this to the site administration, please include this entry number in your message. ------------------ and there is no way to get away from it. From now on, every URL relating to my /Plone instance shows such a message. What can I do to get my original content back and uninstall membrane? Thanks in advance for any useful hints. I believe that there are a few issues with membrane in 3.3 at the moment that are being worked out.
