Faculty/Staff Directory 2.0 Alpha-1

Hi all,

I just wanted to quickly announce that we've finally released an alpha
version of Faculty/Staff Directory 2.0.

The 2.0 release includes a number of new features, most importantly:
Plone 3 compatibility, membership integration using membrane (big thanks
to Cris Ewing for this one!), and an improved extensibility framework
using archetypes.schemaextender. Past that, it's a complete blur; Erik
Rose is spending the day digging through the SVN logs to determine
exactly what we've been doing for the last 6 months.

The product (along with its dependencies) can be downloaded from the
Faculty/Staff Directory product page on Plone.org:

Hi, Eric:

I really like the faculty/staff directory plug in. but I have problem installing it with plone 3.1.1 in linux.  here is the problem. will you be able to give me some advice. Thanks a lot


I picked up plone after a guy in my group left.  the faculty/staff
directory 2.0 did not work.  so i deleted the the installed folder
previously like ( membrane, Relations, and WebLionLibrary) and reinstall it according to
the readme file instructions.

1. I am confused about this instructions ( I am using plone3.1.1)

       * If you're not using buildout and are using Plone 3.0.x, find the
         "archetypes" folder, somewhere in your Zope instance (lowercase
"a", not
         uppercase "A"). It's often in lib/python and should have a "kss"
folder
         in it. Put the
archetypes.schemaextender-1.0b1/archetypes/schemaextender
         folder (included) into the archetypes folder.

i do not know where is "archetypes" folder.  it seems that there are many
folders have the same name.  any idea?

2.  after I used the buildout way to install faculty/staff directory, I
found the faculty/staff directory product in the adds on products. after I
click the install.  I see the following errors.  any suggestion will be
appreciated.
