Hi All,

I've been on leave for quite a while and back just in time for FOSS4G.

Some members of the GeoWebCache list are meeting up at some stage - does anyone have any similar plans from GeoTools? Some of you whom I have been in contact with in the past, and others also, I would very much like to meet for a beer and a chat!

Regards,

Miles Jordan

Hi Miles:

I am going to grab people for dinner on Monday night if I can; and
there will be the code sprint on Saturday.

I am also running a GeoTools Tutorial on Friday and would welcome an
extra set of hands. There is also the install fest (maybe we can help
people with maven - and hand out a beer when they succeed :-D ).

There are BOF sessions avaialble; but am unaware of anyone reserving a
GeoTools one (perhaps you?).

And a code sprint on Saturday will be the main activity for GeoTools
(wiki page here http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/FOSS4G_2009_Code_Sprint).
And there is an extra round of code sprint for those wanting to work
on 3D Geometry (talk to Ben to reserve a spot).

I better post this as a news item...and it does not looked like we
have marked ourselves down on the code sprint wiki page (even though
we have been planning a bit on the email list here).

Jody
