CIRMMT is looking for a web developer (up to 150 hours) and web
designer (50 hours) to work on the CIRMMT main website, under the
supervision of the Systems Manager. The hourly rate is $25, and the
work must be completed within 2 to 4 months after the employment start
date.

The web developer (up to 150 hours) will be responsible for :
- updating and maintaining zope/plone frameworks and Products to their
latest versions,
- developing and implementing new functionalities for the zope-based
front-end CIRMMT website,
- setting up internationalization framework (bilingual english/french),
- integrating the centre plone website with the centre's other
websites (mainly django based) :
- query sql databases, present information through custom templates,
- shared authentication between all websites (ldap, kerberos),
- testing and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Independence, willingness to learn and problem-solving skills,
- At least two years of related work experience/education,
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines, and
new challenges,
- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team,
- Familiarity with research-intensive environments.
Technical Skills:
- python programming,
- experience with zope and plone,
- experience with django is a must,
- basic knowledge of ldap.

The web designer (50 hours) will be responsible for :
- improving and cleaning up css/(x)html/js code,
- integrating embedded video and audio player,
- testing and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Independence, willingness to learn and problem-solving skills,
- At least two years of related work experience/education,
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines, and
new challenges,
- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team,
- Familiarity with research-intensive environments.
Technical Skills:
- very familiar with (x)html, css, javascript, ajax,
- experience with plone and django templates.
