   Heard to day district here wanting to be the first to implement FSS district wide , to consolidate routes, move out of offices to save rent, so they dont care if they put you on the street for 8 hours a day, so what if youll take longer, looking at half a dozen different spots for mail to deliver at each box, they cut our pay put us on a longer day, and they call it efficiency, burn up 8 times the fuel they do now ,  but its good for the big shots, who cares about the idiot out in a 100 degree heat wave for the day, mabe they can replace him or her with a new carrier at a much lower step!   PO cares!!!

   They might have shafted themselves this time, lots of flats and political mail they couldnt run , or didnt ,through the FSS machines, it works but really screws up the covers of the magazines at times, bends the hell out of flats at times, jambs the machines and you get a lot of raw flats in some kind of order, they were run but didnt take for some reason, dont know if its lack of personel to run the machines or lack of traing to run them , like all the po does half way!also  they sent back a lot of flats at count to be run through the FSS, will they continue to do so, good question, its like dps good at times and it stinks at time, but dont see the huge time saveings on me getting off any earlier, just on paper, less time!
