Through out the day, Bob Pickelshimer decided to make a challenge to the delegation. For every 50 dollars raised, he would remain silent for 10 min. The money would go to pac. By the time elections were over, Bob's "hush fund" made over $11,000 for pac. I will say this, as much as many people had fun with it, Bob was a very good sport about it.

After the customary recognition parts of the program, there was the very emotional farewells for both Donnie Pitts and Randy Anderson. Bill Gordon got out of Dodge when he lost the last committeeman position.

Scottie Hicks swore in the new National Board and then the convention was adjourned. Next year the Convention will be in Grapevine, TX. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for the updates-I've been watching Don Maston since he declared and know how hard he's been working for this.  I think he will do great.  I wish I could have gone but to much summer stuff going on with kids.  We might go to TX next year but hope it won't be as boring as this year must have been...

To bad, so sad, so glad he's gone.  AMF Bill, and I don't mean Adios My Friend.
