Through out the day, Bob Pickelshimer decided to make a challenge to the delegation. For every 50 dollars raised, he would remain silent for 10 min. The money would go to pac. By the time elections were over, Bob's "hush fund" made over $11,000 for pac. I will say this, as much as many people had fun with it, Bob was a very good sport about it.
After the customary recognition parts of the program, there was the very emotional farewells for both Donnie Pitts and Randy Anderson. Bill Gordon got out of Dodge when he lost the last committeeman position.
Scottie Hicks swore in the new National Board and then the convention was adjourned. Next year the Convention will be in Grapevine, TX. Hope to see you there.
