Exchange Simulator connection problem on port 7001

Hi,

I am using the VMWare Appliance and try to connect to the exchange simulator
on port 7001 (FIX 4.2). The Server Diagnostic page shows:

RemoteAddress: N/A
SessionID: FIX.4.2:sender-myid-OMS->MRKTC-EXCH

If I use port 7003 or 7004 with FIX version 4.4 everything works and the FIX
connection established. What's the Problem with my configuration?

Alexander,

Looking at the log I'm seeing that your connection is being rejected
b/c there are multiple connections coming in with that SenderCompID.

Try changing your SenderCompID by appending -koehn to the end of it:
sender-<yourid>-OMS-koehn and see if that works.

Can you also verify that your clock is synced correctly? The system
may reject you for that reason as well. You an check that you are
synced using the "Server Diagnostics" on Tradebase
(http://trac.marketcetera.org/trac.fcgi/wiki/Marketcetera/ServerDiagnostics
) and you can modify the clock if needed
