Hi,

I'm giving two talks at CeBit in Sydney, AU this thusday. It;s a pretty
big event and is a good opportunity to promote plone in australia. The
topics are "Enterprise 2.0 with Plone" and "eGovernment with Plone".

If anyone has some good case stories, slides, or just some ideas what
they'd like to see in these presentations, any help would be appreciated.

Dylan,
We haven't had a chance to write up a case study or press release
about it yet, but a couple of weeks ago a project we work on, Kent
Connects, was runner up in the Government Communications Awards 2008
in the Government to Government category here in the UK.  Basically
it is a set of portals for different local councils within a county
to share information.  What is interesting, is in its first iteration
it is pretty much a stock Plone site, with just a few add-ons and was
initially setup internally by Kent Connects.  We worked on helping
them deploy them quicker (GenericSetup / Customisation Policy stuff)
and will be working on a 'version 2' of the portals in which each of
the (now nearly 20) portals will come under a single Plone instance.
Oh, and it was runner up to a £500 million project between the
National Heath Service and BT ;)

Hi Matt,

Thanks for that. great news. We'll put it in the presentation.

I know Enterprise 2.0 is a wank but its just another way to say systems
that help people collaborate inside the firewall.
I know you guys do some good work with intranets. Do you have any case
studies around that?
