 Dear All,
I am very sorry if this is off track but I have no other
place to look for. I am working in IBM Mainframe and I want to change
to modern language. I was looking for modern lang and I am very very
impressed by Design by Contract by Eiffel. However, when I am trying
to look for  jobs, its so hard to see any listing of jobs in Eiffel.

How can such a beautiful concept be not appreciated in OOAD world. I
am very troubled to decide. I have to earn my daily bread too.

So, please help me understand if there are many applications/specific
applications that run on Eiffel. And is Eiffel nothing to do with Web ?

Just a few lines please and I will be very grateful to help me decide
on my career.

I really need your word seniors.

Warm Regards
Prabhu

Hi Prabhu,

As Roger has already provided, Eiffel may not be as commonly used as
those other more popular languages, but as you've already noticed its
strengths are quite hard to ignore.

Speaking for myself I have had some commercial success in building
Eiffel products, i.e. PC games, for both online and retail distribution.

Hope this helps,
Hubert

Thank you very very much Hubert for your humble reply.

I really admire the concept, but the community is very small to the rest.

Warm Regards
Prabhu
