ÈPÁ! BOM DIA!

I took a picture in Montreal of two Roosters talking.  One says "È PÁ!",  the other says "BOM DIA!"  I figured out Good Morning, but that is it.  I assumed it was French, but cannot find the translation anywhere.  Maybe Portuguese?  Please help, if you know!  Thanks!

Yes, it's portuguese, even in a very free construction:)
É pá (in fact, should be Eh pá) it's just jargon and works like an introduction to speech, where "pá" is the abrev. of "rapaz", that means "boy". It only works between two close persons.
"Bom dia" in fact means good morning.

Yes..it is portuguese..altough is portuguese from porugal, not from Brazil.....
it means, hey guy, good morning!!!!!
