I was wondering how is the EMA figured on an Aux route with an LLV If a POV is used? The route is 21 miles long . Ocaissionally we are asked to use our own vehicle to do the route. I was wondering if there is a set figure or is it paid according to the miles of the route. It seems to be different amount on our checks from time to time.

On an aux route, you get miles or hourly, whichever is more.

I don't think I understand. You mean we are only paid the evaluated time on the route and nothing for our POV use.

No, he's saying you should get EMA by the amount of hours or by the amount of miles.  Whichever is greater.

Get a copy of the contract and read Article 9.2.J

I work at three stations and do occasionally see ema pay screwed up. Ask your PM and listen to what you hear here. There seem to be many ways to arrive at the answer within the post office
